Description

Condition: Various surface scratches and a few small dings throughout the instrument. There are some heavy pick scratches on the pickguard, some small scratches and a few tiny dings throughout the top. There are light surface scratches throughout the back and sides with some heavier surface scratches in roughly a 4 x 4” area on the back. These are still very minor and require close up inspection to be visible. There is a slight unevenness where the fingerboard meets the neck. This was likely caused by shrinking of the wood over time resulting in unevenness in the lacquer and is not affecting playability or sound. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All parts are in perfect working condition.

Body: Double-bound dreadnought body extending to the 12th fret. Solid Sitka Spruce top and mahogany back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with bone saddle, tortoise pickguard and an old style 18 rosette.

Neck: Modified “V” shaped mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard, abalone dot inlays and a 1 ¾” bone nut. Slotted peg head features open-gear Waverly tuners. 25.4” scale length.

Weight: 4lbs, 6.4oz.

Playability/Sound: The 12th fret dreadnought body sounds very rich and full. There is a pronounced mid range in the overall sound and it nicely accentuates the overall sound and character of this guitar. The lows, mids and highs all ring out very clean and clear. The modified “V’ shaped neck is exceptionally comfortable and ideal for any playing style.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
