From scream to purr, crunch to croon, the 490R and 498T humbuckers do it all. Grade-A mahogany neck with Grade-A rosewood fingerboard. Classic headstock with traditional holly inlay and vintage-style tuners. Lightweight & extremely resonant, this guitar is a rock n roll monster. Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, mild finish checking & light play wear. No cracks, breaks or repairs.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body in cherry finish. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with chrome hardware. 5-ply black pickguard shows lots of pick wear, but no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 11.3 oz.
Pickups: Gibson 490R & 498T humbuckers with chrome covers. Bridge - 13.14K ohms; Neck - 8.46K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Epiphone hardshell case included. The bottom clasp is broken, but the case works just fine.
