Description
Condition: This is a great sounding guitar with very comfortable playability. There are various surface scratches and small nicks and dings throughout the instrument; all of which are very minor. Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. There are a few small hairline cracks in the fingerboard throughout the lower and middle register frets. These are hardly noticeable and do not affect the sound or playability (see photos). The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. The truss rod cover was placed on upside down which over time resulted in the wood fading around it creating a mark. This is merely cosmetic and not easily visible (see photos). All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound dreadnought body with solid cedar top and rosewood back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with compensated saddle. Tortoise rosette and a gorgeous abalone inlay around the sound hole.
Neck: Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard, abalone dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Grover tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fishman Prefix onboard preamp with controls for bass, contour, treble, frequency, notch, volume and blend.
Weight: 5lbs, 9.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The cedar top on this guitar sounds beautiful with the rosewood back and sides. It offers a very full, warm overall sound with a nicely pronounced high end and midrange. The neck is very comfortable and suitable for virtually any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case.
