Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a very exciting & dynamic electric guitar hand-built by Rick Turner right here in the United States. Rick co-founded Alembic in 1970 & was involved in the design & construction of the Alembic instruments. He founded Rick Turner Guitars in 1979 & is extremely active on a wide range of musical instrument Internet forums. This Model T features a unique Hipshot Trilogy tailpiece which allows for quick, mechanical transitions to various tunings, so it's ideal for slide playing. The guitar has been professionally set up with low action, so it plays & sounds amazing! This solid body was built to cry the blues. Its strong retro vibe combines influences from the late 20's Kay Kraft designs, 30's electronics & 50's design sensibilities. The Turner "Rick" double-horseshoe pickup delivers accurate vintage lead tones & an "all controls bypass" switch serves up a direct, load-free signal to the output jack. Slide & bottle-neck players love it.
