What makes this banjo special: This Fender FB-58 is in excellent shape for its age, and has many eye-catching features. The back is finished in a rich orange sunburst, while the fingerboard features uniquely stylized pearloid inlays, with an equally ornate headstock. The sound is loud and crisp, with excellent resonance. And with a professional setup from one of our in-house luthiers included, you can be sure it will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Excellent cosmetic condition for its age. There are small surface scratches visible under particular lighting throughout, and some mild tarnishing on the rim of the resonator.
Body: 11” diameter Remo head with top laminated maple rim, 24 piece bracket, and diecast metal tone ring. Chrome plated tailpiece and maple bridge with rosewood cap. 10-ply laminated flame maple resonator.
Weight: 12lb, 4oz
Neck: Maple neck with double rosewood fingerboard, black side dots and stylized pearloid inlays. Chrome-sealed tuners with ivoroid buttons. 1.125” nut width, 26.4” scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod functions properly.
Case: TKL hard shell case included.
