Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a great playing Gibson SG Standard with outstanding Seymour Duncan pickups! Other features include a 50s profile rounded neck upgraded Grover tuners. This SG is a great player and would prove to be the perfect workhorse guitar!
Condition: Good shape overall! There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents, chips and scuffs throughout the guitar. There are also some heavier pick scratches, buckle rash and some small areas of the finish worn down to the bare wood. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The tuners are unoriginal and screw holes from the original machines are visible. The pickups are also original but are high quality Seymour Duncans and sound excellent. Both volume controls are missing the silver inserts but this is merely cosmetic. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid body with beveled edges in black finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece and a Tune-O-Matic bridge. Skirted control knobs with silver inserts and a 5-ply black pickguard.
Neck: 50s rounded profile mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid trapezoid inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Grover tuners, 24.75” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Seymour Duncan humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.45K Ohms.
Bridge: 12.99K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 0.5oz.
Case: Includes the original hardshell case. There are some tears in the tolex case covering and the handle is made from duct tape but overall it functions fine.
