What makes this guitar special: Made for only a short period of time between '98 & '02, this gorgeous Limited Edition Tele is from the first year of production, with a neck date of April '98. Based on Buck Owens' personal Tele & custom finished in red, white & blue sparkle with gold hardware & Buck Owens signature on the headstock. The guitar is in super clean condition & comes with its original hang tags & strap. Professionally set up by our luthier so it plays & sounds marvelous!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall & very clean. Some of the gold hardware has tarnished a bit on the tops of the control knobs & there are mild surface scratches on the pickguard, but aside from that the guitar is in great shape & looks practically new.
Neck: Rounded, C-shape maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. Neck date reads APR '98.
Body: Solid alder body also dates APR '98. Red, White & Blue sparkle finish with bound top & back. String-thru bridge with three barrel saddles. Gold mirror pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 12.9 oz.
Pickups: Tele single coils. Bridge - 6.05K ohms; Neck - 6.96K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs; 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Tweed hardshell case with original hang tags & vintage style strap.
