What makes this guitar special? This is a fantastic one-off Custom Shop Tele that was custom made for the original owner. It features a custom routed B-Bender system complete with a see-through plastic plate so all the internal components can be witnessed during operation, as well as gold hardware for a bit of regal flash. The contoured armrest, while not a traditional element of Telecasters, is a welcome addition as it opens up more comfortable moving space that encourages players to strum and pick choked up towards the pickups to harness a bit more natural chime. The neck is plays beautifully, the B-Bender system adds extra dynamic, and all in all, the guitar is very clean and will surely make an excellent addition to any roster.
Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess various small dings, dents, nicks, scuffs and light scratches, but largely remains very clean and still looks, sounds, and plays great. The frets show almost no wear at all and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight.
Body: Telecaster body with contoured arm rest in 3-Tone Sunburst finish. Custom routed B-Bender setup with thick plastic plate cover. Single-ply pickguard. Bent plate through-body bridge with three gold saddles and B-Bender cap. Gold hardware.
Neck: Medium depth C shape maple neck and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. 1 5/8” nut. Gold vintage-style tuning machines. 25.5” scale.
Electronics: Custom Shop Telecaster pickups in the neck and bridge. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar plays as good as any and its easy C shape is comfortable and familiar. The Custom Shop pickups are a bit smoother than the standard Tele pickups with a slightly boosted mid-range. They sound great in all three positions with a bit more warmth and rounded character in the neck and more chime and jangle in the bridge.
