Description
What makes this bass special: Made in a short run in the late 90’s, these Rippers are increasingly hard to come by! A great player with a cool shape and unique look, this beauty is in great shape for its age, and has an awesome, punchy sound. It has been professionally intonated and setup by the experts at Cream City Music, so it plays and sounds fantastic.
Cosmetic condition: Very good shape for its age! There are various surface scratches and dings throughout the body, as well as some noticeable pickwear on the pickguard, some mild fretwear, and one thumbnail sized chip in the finish behind the bridge.
Body: Contoured double cutaway wide maple body with 2-ply black pickguard and top loading bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 9lb, 12oz
Neck: 4-bolt rounded maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. Maple fingerboard is in great shape with only one small ding on the treble side of the third frets. Frets show some wear, but far less than expected for its age. 1 7/16” nut width, 34” scale length. Headstock sports a black Epiphone logo, 2-ply truss rod cover with white Gibson logo and open gear tuners in perfect working condition. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Covered humbucker pickup with black speed knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.
