A 1997 Mark Sampson-era Matchless Lightning '15 2x10 tube combo amp in great cosmetic condition. Often credited with starting the boutique amp revolution, these early Matchless amps are groing increasingly hard to come by. The Lightning 15 combines Vox-like tones with bulletproof reliability. This one is in great shape, with only a few minor dings and nicks in the tolex. Great for just about any situation, the Lightning is perfect for rehearsal or small stages, and it's pure magic in the studio. This amplifier has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic. Includes original Matchless slip cover.
