Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a rare, Special Edition Martin 000-16TR in great overall shape. This guitar features a 000 body size, solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides and beautiful abalone appointments throughout. The sound is very clear and rich with a nicely pronounced midrange and great natural resonance.
Condition: This guitar is in great overall shape. It came to us as part of a larger collection and all of the pieces have been well-cared for. There are a few light surface scratches, and a few tiny dings throughout the guitar. There are a couple of dings on the headstock, one of which was touched-up. Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The nut has been upgraded to bone, otherwise all part are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound, 000 size body with solid Sitka Spruce top and solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides in natural finish. Rosewood bridge with abalone appointments and a Tusq saddle. Tortoise pickguard and a black/white/abalone rosette.
