What’s special about this guitar: This is a great playing 1997 Gibson Les Paul Studio Limited Edition and it features a stunning pair of Gibson P-94 humbucker sized P-90 pickups in the neck and bridge. Other features include a black finish with gold hardware throughout, super comfortable neck and a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. This guitar has a great sound and the pickups have actually been wax potted allowing them to handle higher gain levels without squealing.
Condition: Good shape overall. There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar with some heavy buckle rash on the back. There are some heavier pick scratches on the top as well. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The pickups were wax-potted post factory to handle higher gain better. The tuners are unoriginal and the holes from the original machines are visible. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition. The neck on this particular piece is actually 1 5/8” at the nut making this guitar considerably comfortable for people who prefer a slender neck profile!
Body: Solid body in black finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge. Speed control knobs and a cream pickguard.
Neck: Super comfortable and nicely rounded mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid trapezoid inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Grover tuners, 24.75” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Wax potted Gibson P-94T humbucker-sized P-90 pickups in the neck and bridge. Dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.70K Ohms.
Bridge: 8.00K Ohms.

Case: Includes an unoriginal tweed hardshell case.
