What makes this guitar special: Made for only about a ten-year period between '96 & '06, this cool semi-hollow is second-year production & offers some really neat features, including noise reduction circuitry which employs a dummy coil & Varitone circuit. Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear for a nearly 20-year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & everything is in perfect working condition.
Neck: Soft V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, semi-hollow with dual F-holes. Poplar body with a flat top maple cap & cream binding. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.7 oz.
Electronics: Blues 90 pickups (superficially resembling a P-90 pickup, but structurally more like a noise canceling Fender pickup) with 3-way blade selector & 6-way rotary Varitone control switch. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Noise reduction circuitry which employs a dummy coil. Push/pull tone pot. Varitone circuit is a mid-cut/band-stop filter with a choice of five center frequencies. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Epiphone hardshell case included.
