What’s special about this guitar: This is a 1997 Fender Lonestar Strat in great playing shape. The neck and middle pickups have been changed to Fender Lace although the bridge pickup is original. This is a great sounding and super versatile combination! Other features include a modern-style bridge, super comfortable maple neck and a fantastic looking candy apple red finish.
Condition: Good shape overall! There are various scratches, scuffs, small nicks, dings and dents throughout the finish with some buckle rash on the back. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with some heavier wear towards the lower registers. Frets still have some life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. The pickups are unoriginal though the current pickups sound fantastic. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in candy apple red finish. Modern-style synchronized tremolo bridge with six individual saddles. Original trem arm is missing. Skirted control knobs and a 4-ply pearloid pickguard.
Neck: “C’ shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment at the heel. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Lace Sensor Gold single-coil pickup in the neck, Lace Sensor Silver single-coil in the middle and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge. Master volume control, neck and middle tone control, TBX tone control for the bridge and a 5-way selector switch.
