What makes this guitar special: This is an absolutely gorgeous Grand Auditorium size Presentation, featuring Brazilian Rosewood back & sides and stunning abalone appointments. No bolt-on here; this is an earlier set-neck model with not only drop dead looks, but a powerful sound as well. Big, rich tone with sweet sustain & resonance. The guitar has been professionally set up by our own luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean & like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Mahogany neck with silver side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with intricate abalone vine inlay. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay with abalone floral inlay. Gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays perfectly up & down the fretboard.
Body: Grand Auditorium body with Florentine cutaway. Solid spruce top with abalone purfling. Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone inlays. Rosewood soundhole binding & abalone rosette. Solid Brazilian rosewood back & sides with beautiful variegation in the wood. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 7.4 oz.
