What’s special about this guitar: This is a mid 90s Strat that has been given a unique look and character. The body has been refinished and a pinup girl decal was applied to the front. Aside from looks, this guitar offers a familiar and comfortable feel and classic sound thanks to the pickups.
Condition: Very good overall. The body has been refinished in a dark red and shows some signs of over-spray. There are various scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the guitar; some of which have been touched-up by hand. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and some of the finish has worn away on the edge of the fingerboard. The nut is unoriginal but functions fine. It has extra slots that were filed by hand (see photos). There is a small cigarette burn on the headstock but this is merely cosmetic. The neck is very comfortable with great action up and down the fingerboard and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body refinished in a dark red with a pinup girl decal on the front. Modern-style bridge with six individual saddles. Original trem arm is missing. Skirted control knobs and a 4-ply pearloid pickguard and back cover plate.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 6.56K Ohms.
Middle: 6.53K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.51K Ohms.
