Description
What makes this guitar special: Even though the guitar is only a couple decades old, it looks more like a vintage relic from the '60s, courtesy of the previous owner's heavy handed treatment. But the real cool factor is the matching Olympic White headstock - now you don't see many of those from the mid '90s! Despite its less than stellar appearance, the guitar still plays & sounds fantastic, thanks to a full inspection & set up from the pros at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of wear & tear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, finish wear & hardware discoloration. The previous owner applied some finish touch ups here & there & attempted to "relic" the guitar in certain areas. Regardless, the guitar has a really cool vibe & needs a good home.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Matching Olympic White headstock with double string trees. Sealed Fender tuners are in perfect working condition. 50th Anniversary sticker on the back of the headstock. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in Olympic White finish. Two-point fulcrum tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply white pickguard & trem cover. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4 oz.
Electronics: Fender single coil Strat pickups. Bridge - 5.50K ohms; Middle - 5.68K ohms; Neck - 5.98K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Fender hardshell case included, however, the handle is missing.
