What makes this bass special: Made for only a very brief period of time in Japan in the mid '90s, this absolutely gorgeous '51 P-Bass is a sure-fire winner in looks, tone & feel. Solid ash body finished in classic two-tone sunburst & the perfectly rounded maple neck make for hours of playing enjoyment. Professionally set up by our own luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds marvelous.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with some light play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & small finish chips.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with "skunk" stripe & black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Open-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid ash body in two-tone sunburst finish. String-thru bridge with double "barrel" saddles. Single-ply white pickguard with wooden finger-rest. Bass weighs 10.4 lbs. Even though the bass did not originally come with these, we are including chrome bridge & pickup covers.
Pickup: Single-coil bass pickup - 7.72K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled chrome dome knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Fender tweed hardshell case included.
