Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful sounding Gibson Gospel acoustic in very good shape overall! This acoustic features a dreadnought body with straight shoulders, spruce top with mahogany back and sides and an arched back which provides both volume and resonance! The neck has a great soft “V” shape which really makes it comfortable to play!
Condition: Very good shape overall! There are various minor surface scratches and small nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the instrument. There is a finish crack beneath the bridge but this does not go through the wood. The back of the bridge was re-glued and there are absolutely no structural issues. The fingerboa5rd and frets are in great shape with only very light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. An aftermarket active Martin Gold Plus pickup was added. There are some finish cracks and a large chip that has been glued back into place around the hole for the input jack.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with a Spruce top, arched mahogany back and mahogany sides in natural finish. Rosewood bridge with a compensated ivoroid saddle, tortoise pickguard and a multi ring rosette.
Neck: Super comfortable, soft “V’ shaped mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Gibson Deluxe tuners with ivoroid buttons, 25 ¼” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Martin Gold Plus active pickup system.
Weight: 4lbs, 11.9oz.
