What makes this guitar special: An ultra cool Gibson Chet Atkins SST sporting a rare black finish. A killer sounding, stage ready acoustic/electric with marvelous tone and remarkable playability. This slick black beauty has been setup by the pros at Cream City Music, so it plays and sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash & some finish wear. There was some tape on the back of the body that left "ghosting" images in the finish. Overall the guitar has a great, well-played look to it & is in perfect working condition.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl star inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gold Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition with Chet Atkins signature on the cover.
Body: Single cutaway, contoured mahogany body with spruce top & 5-ply binding. Ebony bridge & end pins with mother of pearl star inlays. Gold Chet Atkins signature on the upper bout, bass side. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 15.8 oz.
Electronics: Active pickup with treble, bass & volume wheels mounted on the side of the body. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hard shell case included. The case is a bit rough, but serves its purpose well.
