Description
Condition: This Tele is in great shape for being 20 years old! There are some light surface scratches and a few small nicks and dings throughout the instrument. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with the heaviest wear towards the lower registers. A small amount of the finish has chipped off the edges of the fingerboard. This is merely cosmetic and is not affecting playability. A couple of the neck screw holes are widened slightly at the opening but the screws all hold tightly in place. The neck is nice and straight with comfortable, low action up and down the fingerboard. The truss rod and neck tilt adjustments function fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid body in black finish with a 3-ply white pickguard. Modern-style Tele bridge with six individual saddles, dual knurled control knobs and a selector switch.
Neck: Slender “C” shaped maple neck with skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender Single-Coil pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume control and a master TBX tone control.
Neck: 7.34K Ohms.
Bridge: 7.08K Ohms.
Weight: 8lbs, 1.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This guitar has an excellent feel and sound. The pickups provide a classic Tele twang and the TBX tone control is highly versatile and useful.
