What makes this guitar special: This Stratocaster is a fantastic sounding and playing guitar from top to bottom. Made for Fender’s 40th Anniversary, this guitar features a commemorative badge on the headstock and a commemorative “Stratocaster 40 years …and still rockin’.” neck plate. The single coil pickups provide plenty of output that capture the quintessential Strat tones with tons of punch, a strong midrange, and crisp high end. Plus, it comes with its original hard shell case and a professional setup from our in-house tech, so all you have to do is tune it up.
Condition: The guitar is in excellent condition overall. It does possess some light surface scratches, but is in exceptional condition for a used instrument. The frets display some light play wear, but are still in great shape with plenty of life left. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway contoured ash body in Dakota Red. 3-ply black pickguard. Black top hat knobs and pickup covers. Two Point Deluxe synchronized tremolo bridge. 3-ply black back plate.
Neck: Slim C shape satin maple neck (.82” at the 1st fret, .86” at the 12th fret). 22 fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and black side dots. Chrome Fender sealed gear tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 25.5” scale length.
Electronics: Fender single coil pickups. Master Volume and dual tone controls. 5-way pickup selector switch.
Weight: 8 lbs. 7.8 oz.
Playability/Sound: The slim C shaped neck is incredibly comfortable to hold and the satin finish allows for easy maneuverability from top to bottom. The single coil pickups perfectly capture the classic Stratocaster tones, with plenty of punch, a strong midrange presence, crisp high end, and characteristic quack in the 2nd and 4th position.
Case: Includes original hard shell case. The case is missing a hinge and will not stay open on its own. It is also missing 3 of the metal feet.
