Description
What makes this guitar special: A great playing 40th Anniversary Strat, in an ultra cool Torino Red finish. This piece plays beautifully, with smooth action and a comfortable rounded neck feel. Notable features include a 40th Anniversary badge on the headstock, two-point tremolo bridge, and TBX tone control. Professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused with some light wear and tear throughout. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs present, with surface level buckle rash on the back of the body, and visible staining on the fingerboard (most notably along the edges). The frets show wear consistent with age, but still have life in them, and the hardware shows some minor tarnishing and oxidation.
Body: Contoured double cutaway alder body in torino red finish with 3-ply off-white pickguard, and off-white back plate. Two-point string through tremolo bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 7 lb, 11.3 oz
Neck: C-shaped solid maple neck with skunk stripe, black side dots and black dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Fender logo and 40th Anniversary badge on the headstock. Chrome sealed Fender tuners work great. Maple fingerboard shows wear consistent with age, with staining here and there, most notably along the fingerboard edges. Frets show wear consistent with age as well, but still have some life left in them. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Fender single coil pickups (Bridge-7.26k ohms, Middle-6.58k ohms, Neck-6.17k ohms) with 5-way pickup selector switch and white skirted knobs, 2x tone (with TBX tone control), 1x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
