Description
What makes this guitar special: Heritage only made a select number of bass models, but what they did produce easily held up to the standards and build quality they are widely known for, and this bass is no exception. Aesthetically, the flame maple throughout looks absolutely fantastic, and its smooth visual waves serve to bring some character into its look while maintaining a bit of subtlety and class with its Tobacco Sunburst finish. The nicely rounded C shape neck plays beautifully top to bottom, thanks to the soft heel contour that makes playing in the upper registers as easy as anywhere else. Plus, the shape is perfect for players who like a bit more heft to their neck profiles. The active EMGs have a ton of mid-range punch and with the addition of the bass expander control, it can range into deep low-end territory without losing any top end clarity. Overall, it’s a very well-rounded bass with great tone, playability, and aesthetics.
Condition: This bass is in very good condition overall. It does show various small nicks, dings, dents, chips, scuffs, scratches and other forms of light wear throughout, but for an instrument of its age, it’s still in great shape. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should.

Playability/Sound: The neck profile on this bass fits it perfectly and moves easily from the nut up into the cutaway, especially with a soft heel contour. The pickups are nice and fat while still maintaining some mid-range punch and top end clarity. The bass expander control adds another level of low-end altogether.
