What makes this guitar special: A delightful, thin hollow body jazz box in a beautiful natural finish. The guitar displays some gorgeous flame figuring, particularly on the back of the neck. Superb tone & feel, offering hours of playing enjoyment. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fabulous.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean with really only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Slender profile flame maple neck with cream binding & black micro side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear & have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield inlays. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. Some of the gold has worn off the tuner buttons. 1 5/8" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single cutaway, hollow maple body with multiple top & back binding. Harp-style trapeze tailpiece with gold finish. Compensated rosewood bridge on a floating rosewood base. 5-ply black "stairstep" pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 4 oz.
Pickups: Guild humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. Bridge - 6.55K ohms; Neck - 6.57K ohms. Both pickups are pretty evenly matched. Dual volume & tone controls with black knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with Guild owner's manual.
