Description
Condition: Very good condition overall. Various surface scratches, nicks and small dings throughout the guitar. Overall it is very clean! The original nut has been changed to a bone nut with an extra piece of Ebony professionally added (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod functions fine. The pickguard is unoriginal. Some touch-up solder work has been done but all electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid alder body with laminate flame maple caps on the front and back in Greenburst finish. Modern style bridge with six individual saddles, skirted control knobs and a gorgeous pearloid pickguard.
Neck: Modern “C” shaped maple neck with Ebony fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” bone nut. Locking tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender Lace Sensor single coil pickups in the neck and middle and a humbucker in the bridge. Master volume control, dual tone controls, 5-way selector switch and a 3-way mini toggle to select both bridge pickups individually or together.
Neck: 19.52K Ohms.
Middle: 18.66K Ohms.
Bridge: 15.00K Ohms (per each coil).
Weight: 7lbs, 15.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a somewhat rare version of the Strat. The greenburst finish is simply stunning and the sound of the Lace Sensor pickups does a wonderful job of providing the player with the classic Strat tone. The 3-way mini toggle switch allows the player to use both bridge position pickups together or each one individually. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
