Description

What makes this guitar special: This is a great playing Strat Plus with similarly great tone and a slick finish. The Lace Sensors this guitar comes loaded with output traditional Strat tone, including the warm neck, hyped mid-range of the 2nd and 4th positions with perfect bluesy pop and curl, and crisp jangle of the bridge, all with a slightly smoother response than the standard set. The neck plays as easy as any and also boasts a Wilkinson roller nut and locking tuning machines for extra stability. Additionally, it comes in a color that’s most commonly associated with this era of Strat Plus, making it a bit of a semi-modern classic as well in terms of aesthetics.

Condition: This Strat is in very good condition overall. It does show various nicks, dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, and other forms of normal playwear, but is still in great shape for a guitar that’s 25 years old. The frets show only light wear and still have plenty of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. The interior strap on the case no longer holds it open upright but otherwise the case still functions just fine.

Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Blue Pearl Dust finish. 3-ply white pickguard. White top hat control knobs. Deluxe-style 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge with individually adjustable saddles.

Neck: Slim to medium depth C shape maple neck and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. 1 5/8” Wilkinson roller nut. 25.5” scale length. Satin-finished locking tuning machines with unoriginal locking wheels.

Electronics: Fender Lace Sensor single-coil pickups in the neck, middle, and bridge. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.

Neck: 5.68k Ohms

Middle: 5.67k Ohms

Bridge: 5.65k Ohms

Weight: 8 lbs 3.8 oz

Playability/Sound: The neck on this guitar should be widely familiar to many and plays very easily at length. The Lace Sensor pickups sound fantastic, with a majority of the traditional Strat tones, included the rounded and hyped mid-range of the 2nd and 4th positions, but with a slightly smoother response across the board.

Case: Includes original hardshell case.
