Description
Condition: This is a great playing guitar with phenomenal sounding pickups. There are scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the entire guitar. Most noticeable are two large chips; one on the treble side horn and one between the upper and lower treble side bout. There are also some dings on the lower treble side bout (see photos). There are some pick scratches on the pickguard and the bass side of the guitar from heavy pick attack. The lower corner of the pickguard is cracked (see photos). The neck has some small scratches and dings and a small area near the headstock where the finish wore off (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier play wear in the lower registers. The neck is very straight and the truss rod does not have a huge range of motion but functions fine. Vibrato arm is unoriginal but works fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body in white finish. Synchronized tremolo bridge with six individual saddles, vibrato arm, black skirted controls knobs and a 3-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Slender maple neck with skunk stripe down the back, maple fingerboard, black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single coil pickups in the neck and middle with a humbucker in the bridge. Master volume and tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.07K Ohms.
Middle: 4.99K Ohms.
Bridge: 12.83K Ohms.
Weight: 6lbs, 15.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The pickups offer exceptional output and can handle anything from a sparkling clean tone, to a thick and rich distortion. The humbucker can provide some searing lead tones but cleans up well when the volume knob is turned down. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes hardshell Fender case. The back latch is broken and the lining is separating from the outer shell. Otherwise the case works ok.
