Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a gorgeous, great playing Strat with an awesome finish and its in good overall shape for its age! Features include a Pewter finish, modern-style bridge and bridge saddles and a great playing rosewood fingerboard. This guitar has a loaded pickguard from a 2003 Fender Strat so the electronics are all newer.
Condition: Good overall shape for its age! There is one large impact dent with the finish chipping away on the side and several smaller dents and chips throughout the guitar with some surface scratches and small nicks and dings. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. As previously stated, the pickguard is from a later model 2003 Strat as evidenced by the note on the inside of the pickguard and the solder connections on some of the wires. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in Pewter finish. Modern-style bridge with six individual saddles, skirted control knobs and a 3-ply parchment pickguard. The original trem arm and the back cover plate are missing.
Neck: “C” shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment at the neck heel. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
