Description
Condition: This is a great sounding Sheraton II with an exceptionally comfortable neck! There is some beautiful variegation throughout the wood grain of the guitar making it a desirable yet very affordable instrument. There are various scratches, small nicks and dings and some light buckle rash throughout the back. Fingerboard and frets are in great overall shape with only light play wear. The neck is very straight with low, comfortable action and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound semi-hollow body with maple top and maple back and sides in a vintage sunburst finish. The top quilt maple veneer has some beautiful figuring throughout the top giving the guitar a great look and an awesome vintage vibe. Stop-Bar Tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge, skirted control knobs, bound tortoise pickguard and dual bound F-holes.
Neck: Slender 3-piece maple neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Split pearloid/abalone inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Bound headstock with pearloid floral inlay and Epiphone logo. Sealed tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Epiphone humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.

Bridge: 8.32K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is a great example of an early model Sheraton II. The woods used are exceptional for this model and the overall playability is great. It has the looks, feel and very much the sound of a more expensive 335-style guitar. The slender neck is extremely comfortable and work well for any playing style.
