Description
What makes this guitar special: A dynamite sounding Tele with some tasty upgrades that give it an ultra cool look. The original neck pickup was replaced with a Seymour Duncan humbucker, giving the guitar a meatier tone. The knurled control knobs were replaced with "witch hats", so against the Candy Apple finish, the guitar looks a bit like the one Muddy Waters played. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some buckle rash.
Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. The original Fender sealed back tuners were replaced with Schallers. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. Neck date reads SEP 19 1990.
Body: Solid alder body finished in Candy Apple Red. String-thru bridge with American Standard six adjustable saddles. Unoriginal single-ply white pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.4 oz.
Pickups: Original Tele single coil bridge pickup - 7.11K ohms; Seymour Duncan neck humbucker - 7.15K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with unoriginal black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Black tolex hardshell case included. The case has some decals on the outside that can be removed if so desired.
