Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful 1989 Fender Strat Plus in an awesome burgundy finish. Features include a modern-style bridge, Fender Lace Sensor pickups, super comfortable neck with an Ebony fingerboard and locking tuners with a Wilkinson nut. This one is also very clean for its age. While it does have some nicks and dings it is very clean overall!
Condition: Great shape overall! There are various surface scratches and small nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument with one small visible chip and a couple of tiny scuffs. Given the guitar’s age it is really quite clean! The fingerboard and frets show moderate play wear but still have plenty of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod and neck tilt adjustment function perfectly. The G-string tuner has been replaced with the exact same kind of machine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in a gorgeous burgundy finish. Modern-style bridge with six saddles and a trem arm. Skirted control knobs and a 3-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Super comfortable “C” shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment screw at the neck heel. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays and a 1 5/8” Wilkinson nut. Locking tuners and a 25.5” scale length.
