Description
Description: 1989 Fender USA Made ’57 Reissue Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Rare Sonic Blue Finish
Condition: Very good overall. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. The sonic blue finish has faded slightly giving it a slight surf green look and adding to its vintage style! There is one filled-in screw hole on the treble side horn from a strap button (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life left in them. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body in Sonic Blue finish. Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, skirted controls knobs and a single-ply white pickguard.
Neck: Slim ’57 profile maple neck with maple fingerboard, black dot inlays and a 1 10/16” nut. Vintage style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender vintage-style single coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume controls, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.53K Ohms.
Middle: 5.59K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.65K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 11.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing Strat that really nails the feel and sound of a ’57! The pickups over a classic Fender tone with plenty of sparkle and snap. They sound very warm and transparent when played clean and have a nice, gritty overdrive sound. The slim neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for any playing style!
Case: Includes Fender hardshell tweed case. Vibrato arm is insluded in the case as well as a bridge cover which is unoriginal to the guitar.
