Description
What makes this guitar special: Great shape for a nearly 30 year old guitar, and although it does show some minor wear, it's got a killer sound! Beautiful patina & a wonderful overall vibe. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays great!
Cosmetic Condition: Various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & pick wear. There's a pretty good sized dent in the top near the pickguard. Light weather checking & a mild lacquer crack in the top, between the bridge & sound. The crack is purely superficial & only in the lacquer. When we acquired the guitar the bridge was pulling up slightly from the top, so we had our luthier professionally reglue the bridge & he did an excellent job.
Neck: Soft, v-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Rosewood headstock overlay. Chrome Martin tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double bound, dreadnought body with solid spruce top & herringbone purfling. Ebony bridge with cream end pins. The pins are a bit mis-matched with half of them having abalone inlays & the other half with black dots. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid rosewood back & sides. No pickup. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 10.8 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
