Description
What makes this guitar special: This is a unique guitar that was only made for just over half a decade in the mid to late ‘80s. It is essentially a Les Paul with a bolt-on neck, so it still possesses great playability and tone, but has a little different construction. It features a pair of Sonex 180 humbuckers that have great response across the board. The neck is full and round, while the neck is bright and full of chime. Other than those two elements, it still largely looks, feels, and plays like a Paul with a few differences in terms of body contours, but is still a great player with good tone.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various nicks, dings, dents, chips, and scratches, but is still in great shape considering it is nearly 30 years old. The frets show only light to mild wear at worst, and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Single cutaway mahogany body in Black finish. Tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece. Black speed knobs.
Neck: Medium depth C shape maple neck and ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Chrome Grover tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale.
Electronics: Sonex 180 humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.
