Description

What makes this guitar special: Here’s your chance to own a great-playing, well-kept heavy metal machine! Finished in an eye-catching red finish, this high output beauty has awesome tone and terrific playability in a dazzling package. You don’t see many like this one! Dripping with 80’s aesthetic and sporting a highly useful pickup configuration, this piece is as versatile as it is unique. It comes professionally setup and inspected by our-in house luthier, so it will arrive ready to play out of its original factory hard shell case.

Cosmetic condition: Very good condition for its age! There are various dents, dings, scratches, scuffs, and small chips in the finish throughout-but nothing that affects playability. The most notable wear is the finish chipping on the edge of the lower treble side horn, and on the control knobs where the color has worn over time. Frets show some minor wear but still have a ton of use left in them.

Body: Solid 4-horned body in glossy red finish with black pickup bezels and locking tuner buttons, along with Kahler locking tremolo bridge.

Weight: 9lb, 9oz

Neck: Medium profile neck with pearloid side dots and mother-of-pearl block inlays. Ebony fingerboard is in stellar condition, and is quick and easy to maneuver up and down the length of the neck. Frets do show some wear but are in great shape overall with a ton of life left in them. Schaller tuners function perfectly. 1 5/8” nut width with locking nut, and 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.

Electronics: Dual M22 humbuckers (Neck-7.53K ohms, Bridge-11.72K ohms) with 3-way black tipped pickup selector switch, individual coil-splitting mini toggle switches, and knurled black chrome knobs, 2x individual volume, 1x master tone.

Case: Original hard shell case included, along with original tremolo arm.
