What makes this guitar special: The original run of this model was produced for only a few years in the early 80s and revived two and a half decades later in the late 00s and were made up until a few years ago. This one still boasts its original parts and although it shows some wear, it still sounds and plays as good as ever. Its neck-through design, C shape neck, and gradual heel contour provide an excellent playing surface even up into the highest frets. The humbuckers sound great in both positions, with a bigger, warmer response in the neck and articulation in the bridge. Plus, it comes with a hardshell case and a pro setup so it plays that much better when it arrives at its new home.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does show a good amount of finish clouding as well as various nicks, dings, dents, scratches, and mild hardware pitting and oxidation, but nothing that affects the overall playability, as it still plays and sounds great. There are a few small cracks in the pickup rings. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should.
Body: Double cutaway mahogany and maple body with a carved maple top in Brown Sunburst finish. Multi-ply top binding. Raised 2-ply black pickguard. Gold top hat control knobs with gold indicators. Yamaha tune-o-matic bridge with individually adjustable saddles and embosses stopbar tailpiece.
Neck: Slim to medium depth C shape maple and mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard with split tent-shape inlays. Sealed tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.75” scale length. .78” deep at the 1st fret, .96” at the 12th.
Electronics: Yamaha humbuckers in the neck and bridge. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The C shape neck on this guitar should be widely comfortable and familiar for most players. The neck humbucker is warm and full with great body and a nice touch of mid to upper register articulation, and the bridge is crisp with a bit of vintage jangle.
