What makes this guitar special: These super rare, Japanese beauties were only made for a short period of time in the mid '80s & are becoming highly sought after. This one was just recently acquired from the original owner who kept it in immaculate condition. The original shop sticker is still on the back of the headstock. Gorgeous, metallic red sunburst finish is quite eye catching & very vibrant. The guitar has been professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition & very clean - looks practically brand new! There are a few minor nicks, dings & mild surface scratches, but otherwise the guitar is in great shape.
Neck: Slender maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with pearloid "snowflake" inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl logo & inlay. Fender sealed tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured alder body with carved maple top & multiple binding. Stop tailpiece with micro tune for each individual string. Adjustable bridge with roller style saddles. Chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 4.4 oz.
Pickups: Dual humbuckers with coil splitter. Bridge - 11.42K ohms; Neck - 7.76K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. Each tone pot is a TBX control, which offers a midway tone boost.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original paperwork.
