Description
Condition: Very good overall. Various surface scratches, and small nicks and dings throughout the finish. There are a few partially legible signatures that have been buffed down by a previous owner. Some buffing marks are still visible. Fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod functions fine. The bridge pickup has been replaced with an Invader humbucker though the Sonex bottom plate was kept (see photos). All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid Resonwood body in an awesome candy apple red finish. Stop-Bar Tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge, speed control knobs and a 2-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Slim maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Sealed nickel tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson Sonex humbucker in the neck and an Invader in the bridge with original Sonex plate on the bottom. Dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.92K Ohms.
Bridge: 14.23K Ohms.
Weight: 9lbs, 2.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing guitar. The combination of the original neck pickup and the higher output bridge pickup are useful for an extended range of sounds. The bridge pickup cleans up well by rolling down the volume control yet will provide searing lead tones when dimed. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
