Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a gorgeous sounding, great playing Ibanez AS100 semi hollow body guitar. Features include a Birch body with a maple sustain block, slender mahogany neck and a dark rosewood fingerboard. The original Super 70 humbuckers sound fantastic and clean up nicely via the volume control!
Condition: Very good shape overall especially for the guitars age! There is a repaired crack at the neck heel. The crack is visible but the repair work was done professionally and there are no playability issues. There are various minor surface scratches, small nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar. There is some heavy buckle rash on the back that has worn through to the bare wood and some of the metal parts have some blemishing and corrosion. The frets do have some heavier play wear but the neck is still playable without any fretting out or buzzing. The frets will be due for some work in the near future however. The neck is very comfortable and the truss rod functions perfectly. All the electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound semi hollow body with birch top, sides and back in a sunburst finish. Quik-change slotted tailpiece and ST bridge with six saddles. Skirted control knobs with rubber grips, dual f-holes and a 4-ply black pickguard.
