What’s special about this guitar: This is a great playing, awesome sounding 1980 SG. The guitar features original Patent Number humbuckers, a very comfortable neck profile with an Ebony fingerboard and an awesome looking walnut stain finish. To top it all off, this guitar is super clean, especially for its age!
Condition: Great overall shape, especially for the instrument’s age! There are various minor surface scratches, small nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar with only a few larger scratches or dings. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid body with beveled edges in walnut stain finish. Stop-Bar tailpiece with a Tune-O-Matic bridge. Speed control knobs and a 4-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Nicely rounded and very comfortable mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Nickel Grover tuners, 24.75” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson Patent Number humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.41K Ohms.
Bridge: 7.47K Ohms.
