Description
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish wear. The previous owner had the guitar signed by Les Paul in white marker on the back of the body. Unfortunately there is no documentation of this other than the previous owner's word. However, the previous owner is a good customer of ours & the signature does look like Les's. There's also a small stick figure scratched into the back of the body.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl inlays. Gibson tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap. Multi-bound top & back. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge; gold hardware; 5-ply black pickguard.
Pickups: Gibson T-Top humbuckers missing their gold covers. Bridge - 7.60K ohms; Neck - 7.54K ohms. Both pickups date to '79. Dual volume & tone controls with black top hat knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Three pots date to '79; the neck volume control pot is unoriginal.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action with a smooth, comfortable neck. Rich, creamy humbucker tones with great sustain!
