Description
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall & very well cared for. The guitar was professionally re-lacquered & looks amazing. There are a few minor nicks & dings along with surface scratches & small finish chips on the top of the headstock. Great vintage vibe with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe & black side dots. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Double string trees & bullet truss rod. There's quite a bit of really stunning bird's eye figuring all over the neck that really makes it stand out. The original tuners were replaced with a no-name brand, but they work well with the guitar. The neck is straight & the truss rod works fine. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.
Body: Solid northern ash body in natural finish. Hard tail bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard. The serial number underneath the pickguard matches the serial number on the headstock. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 11 oz.
Pickups: Three single coils all date to '78. Bridge - 5.68K ohms; Middle - 5.66K ohms; Neck - 5.69K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls; 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action with a smooth playing neck. Classic, vintage Strat tone - very dynamic!
Case: Original hardshell case included.
