Description
Description: 1975 Vintage Gibson J-45 Deluxe Acoustic Guitar
Condition: Very good overall. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings and small dents throughout the finish. The binding has begun to crack and crumble though most of it is still staying in place. It may however need to be replaced at some point. There are a few tiny cracks on the back around the bottom and top edge. These are very minor, show no movement at all and are holding together perfectly (see photos). Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. Neck is very straight and truss rod functions fine. The saddle is unoriginal but works great. All parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound square shoulder body with spruce top and mahogany back and sides in sunburst finish. Rosewood bridge, bone saddle, tortoise pickguard and multiple inlaid rings around the sound hole.
Neck: Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Gibson Deluxe nickel tuners with nickel buttons, 25.5” scale length.
Playability/Sound: This acoustic provides a very rich and full sound. The body size and shape provide great volume and resonance and the neck is exceptionally comfortable.
Case: Includes original chipboard case and owner’s manual.
