Description: 1970s Vintage Sho-Bud The Pro II Custom Model 6155 8X2 Pedal Steel Electric Guitar
Condition: Very good condition overall. Various light surface scratches, small nicks and dings and some nice weather checking throughout the finish. There is some blemished on the metal parts but nothing major. All mechanical parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double 10-String neck maple console finished in translucent brown with a green hue. Second neck is raised ¾” above the first neck. Inlaid roping detail adorns each neck and the front apron of the console. Each neck has a steel bridge with black plastic fingerboard, raised white frets and Spade and Diamond fret markers. 3” metal roller nut and Grover tuners. 24” scale length.
Controls: Two knee levers and eight pull rods. Necks are currently set up for C6 and E9 tuning.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single coil pickup on each neck with 3-way selector switch.
Neck 1 (closest to player): 19.88K Ohms.
Neck 2: 16.46K Ohms.
Playability/Sound: This is a phenomenal sounding pedal steel and is a must for any player. The mechanics and build quality of this instrument are top notch and it is suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case with steel bar and finger picks. Leather bag for legs and pull rods is not included.
