What makes this guitar special? This unique 1970s version of the Wilshire was made specifically for the Japanese domestic market. The maple body shows some nice figuring with a small bit of flaming under the great-looking Cherry Sunburst finish. The pickups have a full response and embody a good amount of vintage vibe without losing any modern applicability. Instead of the standard chrome hardware, this one features gold from head to toe including everything from the knobs and switches to the tuning machines, adding a brighter and more colorful element to match the burst. Considering this guitar is about 40 years old, it is incredibly clean, so don’t miss your chance to own this fantastic ‘70s Epi.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall, if not better. It does possess light surface scratches throughout the body and neck, as well as small dings here and there, but overall, especially considering its age, this guitar is in great shape. Neck: Thin D shape set maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. 1 5/8” nut width. Sealed gold tuning machines. Epsilon-style abalone headstock logo inlay.
Electronics: Humbucking pickups. 2 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 3-way pickup selector.

Playability/Sound: The thin D shape neck is easy to play up and down and has a bit more unique feel than the standard C shape. The pickups have a warm, full response with a good amount of vintage vibe.
