Description
What makes this guitar special? This is one of the cleanest and best playing of this model or similar models that we’ve seen come through the shop in a long time. It is in fantastic shape for its age and even the finish checking looks great. The neck plays easily from top to bottom and is just as comfortable. The sound is fantastic, especially for such a small guitar. Its volume ceiling is surprisingly high, and it responds beautifully across the whole spectrum with a nicely matured tone. This is an all-around excellent acoustic in terms of both look and sound and shouldn’t be overlooked.
Condition: This B-25 is in very good to excellent condition overall, especially considering its age. It does have some light scratches throughout the body and neck, an embossed headstock, as well as a few dings and the normal finish checking, but is incredibly clean for its age and it shows.
Body: Small body with a 3-ply bound spruce top, single-ply bound mahogany back and laminated mahogany sides. Single ring rosette. Plastic slotted bridge with cream/white bridge pins.
Neck: Medium round mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. 1 9/16” nut width. 3-per-side closed Kluson Deluxe tuning machines with white buttons.
Weight: 4 lbs 0.6 oz
Playability/Sound: For a guitar of this age, it plays beautifully from the nut to the 14th. The sound is definitely matured, but still possesses a crisp top end and responsive midrange with a surprising volume ceiling.
Case: Includes Martin hardshell case.
