Description
Condition: Very good overall. Various surface scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. There is a small hairline crack on the back towards the bottom. This is showing no movement and does not go all the way through the wood. There are a few tiny finish cracks throughout the body but these are merely cosmetic. The neck is mostly straight though it does have a slight back bow with a hump at the 12th fret. It may benefit from some fret work though it is playable. All electronics and parts are in good working condition. Note: This guitar requires an amphenol cable to be plugged in which is not included. This cable is available through most online parts stores.
Body: Double bound body with arched flame maple top, back and sides with some gorgeous figuring. The binding has developed a nice patina adding to this guitar’s vintage vibe! Trapeze tailpiece, rosewood-based compensated bridge, dual bound “F” holes, single-ply black pickguard and cream control knobs.
Neck: Chunky round neck with neck tilt adjustment screws at the neck heel, rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 ¾” nut. Nickel Kluson Deluxe tuners with ivoroid buttons, 25” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single coil pickup in the neck with pickguard mounted master volume and tone controls.
Pickup: 8.72K Ohms.
Weight: 5lbs, 7.3oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding archtop with an authentic vintage tone. The maple top, back and sides provide nice attack with a full, warm body. The neck is very comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
