Description
Condition: Various surface scratches and small nicks, dings and dents throughout the banjo. Some of the metal parts have some blemishing. This instrument has an awesome vintage look and feel. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. Neck is very straight and though the truss rod does not have a huge range of motion, it functions fine. All parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: 11” diameter head with 24 lugs on a nickel tension hoop. Nickel arm rest, tailpiece and one-piece flange. Mahogany pot with single metal coordinator rod and a brass rim . No tone ring. Bound resonator with maple top and mahogany sides in sunburst finish.
Neck: Soft “V” shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 3/16” nut. Nickel machine tuners with ivoroid buttons, 23.5” scale length.
Weight: 8lbs, 7.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding vintage banjo! The resonator gives it plenty of volume and note attack. The neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case in good condition.
