Description
Condition: This is a very rare lap steel with an awesome vintage vibe. Various surface scratches and small nicks, dings and dents throughout the instrument. Fingerboard and frets are in good condition with some light pick scratches towards the pickup. The frets have been hand numbered. One of the pickup cover screws has been replaced. Otherwise, all parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Stairstep body shape in grey body finish with Art Deco ornamentation etched on blue and black metal top piece. Chrome plated tailpiece/bridge and pickup cover/hand rest. Dual plastic control knobs.
Neck: Square neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, multi-colored dot markers and a 2 3/8” metal nut. Grover open-gear tuners, 22.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single coil pickup with master volume and tone controls.
Pickup: 8.44K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is a very rare and great sounding lap steel. It is the first of this model we have seen in the shop. The tone control has three different settings each with a different sound. This lap steel can produce anything from a bright sound with plenty of twang to a warm, mellow Hawaiian tone.
Case: Includes original hardshell case> One of the accessory compartment doors is falling off, otherwise the case is in good overall condition.
